Low-residency MFA

If you are an artist, teacher, art professional, or someone who is devoted to making art, but your employment schedule, family commitments, or other circumstances keep you from enrolling in the traditional school year, this low-residency program is for you. Typically completed in 3-4 years, a Low-residency MFA is composed of 60 credit units of academic and studio courses, completed during intensive on-campus sessions in the summer months and then during independent, directed study in your home community during the rest of the year. The same rigor and requirements earned during the more traditional MFA program are applied to the Low-residency MFA program.
